We have an opportunity for an Organiser to join our Eastern Regional Centre team. Working with lay officials and staff colleagues, you will further develop the strength of the Union, by actively engaging with members and their employers, in the school environment to identify organising and campaigning opportunities, whilst also recruiting, training and mentoring new members, workplace representatives and lay officials.

Ideally with experience of the education sector, you will be able to use your experience of trade union organising, casework and campaigning, and your interpersonal and presentational skills, to inspire the confidence, commitment and participation of members.

The NASUWT is committed to equality and will particularly welcome applications from women and members of minority ethnic communities to this post as they are under-represented at this level within the organisation.

Closing date for receipt of applications: 4 August 2024
