Every March, Women’s History Month raises awareness of the vital contributions women have made throughout history and across society.

It is a time to celebrate the achievements of women, while also shining a light on the persistent discrimination and gender inequality that continue to impact lives today.

The month provides a crucial opportunity to engage the wider public in conversations about the everyday struggles women and girls face, struggles that too often go unseen or unheard.

For far too long, women’s accomplishments have been overlooked, undervalued or omitted entirely from mainstream narratives.

Women's History Month is a chance to correct that, to recognise the strength, resilience and impact of women throughout history and in our communities today.

NASUWT remains firmly committed to challenging discrimination and promoting gender equality. We stand in solidarity with the TUC and other like-minded organisations in fighting for a fairer, more inclusive society.

There has never been a more important time to support and uplift our girls and women, to celebrate their achievements, honour their voices and continue the push for true equality.
