At a meeting of the SNCT Teachers’ Panel on 12 September, the teacher trade unions unanimously accepted the pay offer of 4.27% on all salary points for the 2024/25 pay year.
This is now being processed by each local authority and, depending on payroll cut-off dates, will be in teachers’ salaries in either October or November, backdated to the pay implementation date of 1 August 2024.
