Every year, the NASUWT sponsors the highly successful First Appointments Lecture Tour delivered by Steve Hardy, formerly an experienced teacher and County Adviser for NQT Recruitment and Retention.

The lecture takes place at over 60 teacher training institutions across the UK and provides training teachers in their final year expert guidance on finding their first teaching post.

The lecture takes students through the process from the letter of application through to the interview and beyond.

The lecture tour runs from September to April every year. If you are about to enter into the final year of your training make sure you ask your teacher training institution if they are holding an NASUWT sponsored First Appointments lecture and if they are not, why not ask them if they would consider it?
