NASUWT – The Teachers’ Union congratulates new Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Labour Party as they form the next UK government.

“The UK has voted for change after 14 years of damaging cuts to public services and living standards in Scotland and across the UK.

“The commencement of a new government is a much-needed opportunity to address critical issues affecting all parts of the UK.
 
“The new Government in Westminster must now deliver for the people of Scotland with a New Deal for working people and families.”
