As part of our ongoing fight for racial justice, the NASUWT was delighted to host an event tailored for our Black members who aspire to leadership positions in schools and colleges.

The NASUWT Black Members Advisory Committee was consulted at every level of discussion and they provided ideas and facilitators for the day.

Highlights of Taking the Lead - Progression for Black Teachers

The event was for our Black members who aspire to leadership and not those members who are already on the leadership spine [*].

The NASUWT has a long and proud history of tackling all forms of discrimination and injustices and believe that the education system will only truly be inclusive and equitable when inequities are rooted out wherever they are found.
