The NASUWT is committed to ensuring that if you take on a role as a Workplace Representative in your school/college, you will be given access to any appropriate high-quality training in order to undertake your role as an activist confidently, successfully and in accordance with agreed Union procedures.
All our courses are free for elected NASUWT Representatives. There are currently a variety of ways you can become an accredited NASUWT Workplace Representative.
As an elected NASUWT Workplace Representative, you are also entitled to paid time off work for training.
The training will equip you with the skills and knowledge to carry out your role confidently and competently. Topics covered by the courses include:
