This is a one-day seminar looking at employment issues for LGBTI teachers.

It is open to all NASUWT members and focuses on what it means to be ‘out’ in the workplace.

It considers:

  • the nature and scope of homophobic, biphobic and transphobic harassment;
  • relevant legal protections at work;
  • teaching in faith schools;
  • trade union solutions to problems faced by LGBTI members; and
  • other relevant issues.
