In this training session we:
- set the wider context for trans and non-binary identities - how sex, gender and sexual orientation interact;
- explore key terms, including gendered pronouns;
- build confidence using trans and non-binary inclusive language;
- offer basic grounding in the laws that protect trans people's rights in the workplace, including the Equality Act 2010, Gender Recognition Act 2004;
- begin to explore how an organisation can ensure it is being trans- and non-binary inclusive;
- explore practice scenarios tailored to your workplace; and
- signpost to a wide range of resources.
